There are few origins in coffee as iconic and ubiquitous as Brazil. Every coffee lover has enjoyed a velvety, rich cup full of caramel sweetness and nuttiness as a result of Brazil’s fantastic coffee production. This lot from Jorge Fernando Naimeg’s mountainous farm Fazenda Pantano is no exception and we’re thrilled to roast it here at Loch Lomond.
Jorge’s family have been growing coffee in the lush Cerrado Mineiro region of south east Brazil for more than 50 years alongside thousands of celebrated estates in what’s considered the country’s prime agricultural area. With hot, wet summers and notably dry winters during harvest and processing season, the potential for speciality coffee production is perfect.
Sourced through our friends at Ally Coffee who’s own company roots are within Brazil and its founder Ricardo Tavares, we’re continuing our mission of roasting delicious coffees from responsibly sourced and fully traceable origins.
